If I Stay

I just finished reading If I Stay by Gayle Forman, and I would definitley recommend this book. It's told through the eyes of Mia, who watches herself in hospital as her loved ones surround her. I love the way the story was told, while Mia watches herself in hospital she is reminded of all the memories she had with her family and friends, which lets us get to know them better.
I liked how music played a big part in the story. Mia had her cello, Adam had his band, and her dads time in a band aswell. Music was the perfect background for this story.
This book was sad and very emotional, but it was definitley worth reading.

So last week i went to watch (500) Days Of Summer. I suppose it was ok, but it definitley not amazing. It's about a man called Tom who meets a girl called Summer at work, and immediatley falls in love with her. But she wants to keep things casual. In the end the couple break up, but unlike most romantic comedies, they don't get back together.
I found it a bit confusing when the film kept changing to different points in the relationship. Instead of telling the story normally, it would go from day 347 to day 86, and sometimes it was hard to understand what was going on.
This film wasn't terrible, but it was hardly the best romantic comedy of the year.
I give it 5/10
